New stuff going on

As if life's not busy enough, I'm adding lap steel to my bag. Not ready for prime time yet, but I'm getting some wonderful support on rhythm guitar and at the jams. So, I picked up an old Oahu Tonemaster electric and it and my tricone are tuned to the C6 tuning with the C# in ther bass. Very clever, whoever thought that up. I'm still figuring it out but I like the way chords are layed out on it.
I had a fun gig playing for the Mother's Day brunch at Blue Mountain Brewery. Several friends a family turned out and it was a totally beautiful day.
A couple of shows are coming up in June and July at the Blue Moon Diner. Check the calendar page for dates, I can't think of them right off.
I have enough new material to be thinking about getting into the recording studio again. Two of them are even origainals, well maybe three. One of them's just kind of silly, but I thik I'll record it anyway.
